American actor Jason Momoa forbids children from performing in the entertainment industry

Jason Momoa has forbidden his children from pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. The 42-year-old actor has a stellar resume that includes movies and TV series.

He does not want his daughter Lola, 14, and son Nakoa, 12, whom he shares with his wife Lisa Bonet, to follow in his footsteps because he does not believe they are “strong” enough to deal with the pressure, and he will do everything in his power to prevent them from pursuing a career in the glamorous industry.

When he talked about ‘Tonight Entertainment,’ he said: “Aw, one person wants to and I’m not a fan. Aw dude. I don’t want them to. I don’t want them to. I don’t know that. I don’t know. I’m going to try my most damned to keep it out. I want to tell stories, I love plays, I like to direct and shoot, but I simply want to go for stuff, you know, genuinely. Perhaps if [truly] they want to. However, I don’t want them to act. It is really difficult for individuals and I don’t want that pressure from them. I’m hard to deal with, but I’dn’t want to put that [through] someone I love.”

His explanation was: “For a while now, I was directing, so it was a passion. It’s not just one component, I adore seeing the complete creation. It is also great to do the actor’s stuff, however. I can do both, I’m glad.”

But, even if Jason – the stepfather of the actress Zoe Kravitz – is intending to focus more on directing, he is keen to make a picture one of them days with his pal Dwayne’s ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
