Iggy Azalea said she saw Britney Spears’s father, Jamie Spears, controlling her daughter’s life.
On Twitter, the singer said she agreed with the Toxic singer’s claims that she was abusive because her father had controlled her life through her conservatism for the past 13 years.
“The basic human decency is to remove at least one person that Britney has identified as a perpetrator from their lives. That should be illegal,” she wrote on Twitter.
“During our 2015 collaboration, I personally experienced the same behavior that Britney described her father last week, and I just wanted to support her and let the world know she’s not exaggerating or lying.
“I saw the strangest and most trivial things limiting her: how the much-carbonated drink was she allowed to drink. Why was that necessary?”
She also recalled an incident when Jamie forced her to sign the NDA just before she and Britney introduced themselves.
“Your dad comfortably waited until before our [Billboard Music Awards] when I was in the locker room behind the scenes and told me that if I didn’t sign the NDA, she wouldn’t let me on stage.” remember.
“The way he got me to sign sounds like the tactic that Britney talked about last week on her show in Las Vegas”
