James Gunn denies Henry Cavill’s Superman TV programme

James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, denied claims that Henry Cavill’s Superman would appear in DCU TV programs.

Henry Cavill will not appear as Superman in any DC Universe TV shows, according to James Gunn. Cavill reprised the role of Superman in Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam post-credits scene.

Cavill said that was just a taste of what’s in store for Superman, who last appeared in 2017’s Justice League.

Cavill is currently unsigned, but rumours persist. A fan recently claimed that Cavill’s new contract included Superman TV appearances.

DC’s CEO responded to the rumours on Twitter.

Gunn doesn’t know where fans received their information, but he made it clear that no one knows what’s going on at DC Studios right now and that only he and his co-CEO, Peter Safran, would know about Cavill’s contracts.
