IT Ministry Creates Telecom Tribunal for Complaints

The Federal Minister of IT and Telecom, Syed Amin Ul Haq did tell them that soon they’d see a telecom tribunal set up to hear complaints about the telecom industry. The Federal Minister of IT and Telecom, Syed Amin Ul Haq, has did hear what people are saying about how bad mobile and internet service is in the country.

Syed Aminul Haq, who is the Federal Minister of Information Technology, said in a speech in Islamabad that office service isn’t very good in many parts of the country. He said that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is in charge of making sure the service is good (QoS). The governing body takes complaints about QoS very seriously and also has sometimes given businesses fines.

Syed Amin Ul Haq said that the Information Technology ministry will also meet with the telecom companies to talk about the quality of service and hear their complaints. The Information Technology Ministry will talk to people to try to figure out how to solve the problem.

He went on to say that the process of setting up a separate tribunal for telecom complaints has already begun, that the question of setting up a telecom sector tribunal is almost over, and that efforts are did make to bring the cases before the tribunal instead of the High Court. He said that over the next few weeks, the jobs for the social media platforms is then did make clear.
