ISPR reports that an active TTP militant has been killed in North Waziristan

Inter-Services Public Relations  (ISPR) announced on Saturday that a terrorist from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed during an operation in the Boya region of North Waziristan.

The developments occurred as security forces were carrying out “regional clearance operations” according to reports of the presence of terrorists, said a statement from the military’s media wing. Identified as Ashraf Ulah, the terrorist nicknamed Toofani – a resident of Boya – was killed by security forces during an intense gun battle.

Military media reported that Ashraf was an active member of the TTP as he was continuously involved in target killings, terrorist acts against security forces, extortion, and the installation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
