Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) announced that the internet services are working normally in the country. It has returned to normal after the completion of the undersea cable reconfiguration procedure.
According to a statement issued by the PTA, the power configuration work on a section of the international submarine cable, SMW4, has completed on time at 3:00 a.m. today.
Moreover, this was a standard maintenance procedure. There are no working interruptions in internet services in Pakistan.
It should note that previously PTA said that consumers in Pakistan will see a decrease in internet speeds on April 21. The scheduled timings were from 2am to 7am.
