Intel today launched a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence data centers platform in India. The new third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (codenamed “Ice Lake”) form the basis for the data center platform from Intel. According to Intel, the platform offers a significant performance boost over the previous generation.
This has an advantage with an average 46% increase over typical data center workloads.
India claims that these new 3red generation Intel Xeon scalable processors provide an excellent performance as compared to the previous processors generation. The average will be increases 46% over the previous data center workloads.
The processor adds new and enhanced features to the platform. This also including Intel SGX for integrated protection and Intel Crypto Acceleration Intel DL Boost for AI acceleration.
The combined features which include Intel Select portfolio and Intel Market Ready Solutions. This will enable their customers to accelerate implementation in cloud. This contain AI, enterprise, HPC, networking security and end-user applications.
So intel become first that implement 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable center. This including CtrlS, ESDS, Pi Datacenters, Reliance Jio and Wipro Limited.
Intel new data centers Performance
the latest 3rd generation Intel Xeon scalable platforms include Intel Optane 200 series RAM. Intel Optane Solid State Drive (SSD) P5800X and Intel SSD D5-P5316 NAND SSD.
This also include as well as the latest Intel Ethernet 800 and FPGA network adapters from Intel Agilex.
- For the cloud: 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors are designed and optimized for cloud load requirements and support a variety of service environments. The company claims that the largest cloud service providers plan to offer cloud services based on the 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors by 2021.
- For networks: The latest 3rd generation Intel Xeon scalable processors offer 62% higher average performance than the previous generation across a wide range of 5G networks and workloads.
- For Smart Advantage: 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors provide the performance, security, and operational control needed for high-performance AI, advanced image or video analysis, and consolidated smart-end loads, according to Intel.
To accelerate the workload of the 3rd generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable platform. Software developers can optimize their applications using open programming associated with the oneAPI architecture.
This takes the technical and economic burden off of the patented model. The Intel® oneAPI Toolkit supports realizable CPU performance, AI, and encryption functions through powerful compilers, libraries, and debugging tools.
