Mohammad Hafeez believes that body language of Indian captain during the Asia Cup is particularly poor as he looks scared and confused. The Pakistani all-rounder also served as captain of the national cricket team in the past.
It was Rohit Sharma’s turn to toss the coin during the match against Hong Kong. The former captain stated in a video that body language of Indian captain was really poor during Asia Cup. Rohit appeared afraid and bewildered.
The fact that Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian squad places a great deal of pressure on him. That’s why he was not able to perform well with the bat.
Mohammad Hafeez has quoted as saying, “I understand the responsibility that comes with leading the team. I have watched Rohit on several occasions. While he likes batting, his performance has hindered since he became captain.”
The Indian team began their campaign in the Asia Cup by claiming victory over their long-standing adversary Pakistan by a score of 5 wickets. They then went on to claim victory against Hong Kong by a score of 40 runs to advance to the Super Four round.
Earlier, India’s Rohit Sharma surpassed Virat Kohli to become the country’s second most successful skipper in the shortest format. This achievement came about as a result of India’s victory over Hong Kong yesterday.
