The rapid increase in COVID-19 cases among children in Punjab has raised awareness. According to the Punjab Health Department, around 8,520 children in Punjab tested positive during the third wave of the coronavirus.
The third wave is said to be more deadly and dangerous than the previous two, leading health professionals to urge people to religiously follow all safety measures set by the government.

Punjab’s Health Department said 4,133 children contracted the coronavirus in the past three months in Lahore, up from 4,257 coronavirus cases among children in the city last year.
