Fawad Chaudhary, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, explained that in the Digital Media Wing’s (DMW) analytical assessment, no Pakistanis were found to be anti-state.
In advising PML-N leadership to engage an expert to get to know the content of the DMW study, Fawad remarked on Friday that the party lacked political research to enable the leadership to grasp the problem in depth.
The analysis by Rana Sanahullah, Khurram Dastageer and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, he claimed, “reflected their lack of expertise and knowledge in the current technologies.”
He said that the PML-N technology managers may also contact the Digital Media Wing of the Ministry, which had been established to help them.
In its study, the wing supplied data on 150 trends on Twitter, a social media website, adding 3.7 million tweets to construct the anti-Pakistan storey. People from India, Afghanistan and others participated in the online shift, he said.
He said India was using anti-Pakistan tweets using bot technology. Fawad stated, “If anyone is going to take part in and oppose the #SanctionPakistan trend in social media right now — then, it doesn’t imply he has engaged in counter state action, the report did not comment on the Pakistani residents.”
In disseminating and broadcasting social anti-static trends, the media branch of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). The DMW study, which can be analysed by individuals themselves, contained statistics on PTM’s involvement in fostering anti-state narrative.
