In Lahore hospitals, more than 500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have gone missing with 350 being wasted

A source from the provincial health department revealed on Wednesday that some 350 doses of the coronavirus vaccine stored at the Mozang City Teaching Hospital were wasted due to suboptimal temperatures.

About 550 doses of the vaccine have now been lost from hospitals for services.

Regarding the problem of missing vaccine doses, the Provincial Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid that the vaccine is currently being checked by the authorities, and the report will be published soon.

It should be noted that the hospital’s medical director for services was discontinued after 350 doses of vaccine were wasted.

According to sources, 350 doses of vaccine stored at the Mozang Hospital had to be wasted due to less than optimal temperatures.
