In India, the hashtag ‘Happy Birthday Manju Warrier’ is trending

One photograph displays her face, which is partially obscured by colorful patterns covering the rest of the photograph.

She has a beautiful smile on her face despite the riot of colors. She appears to be in complete shock in the other photograph, with her locks actually rising up on her head. She is surrounded by four other people, who are all in varying levels of burns and injuries. Interestingly, both photographs were taken around the time of her birthday – Manju Warrier’s — which falls on September 10. The actor, who is widely regarded as a superstar in Malayalam, has a slew of films scheduled for release in the near future.

The first of the two photographs mentioned above, with a semi-hidden face, is a poster for her bilingual, cross-cultural film, Ayisha, which was released in 2012. Zakariya K – the director of Sudani from Nigeria as well as Oru Halal Love Story – is producing the film, which is directed by Aamir Pallikal. Ashif Kakkodi has authored the screenplay for the film.

The other image is a poster for Lalitham Sundaram’s first appearance in a film. Sitting next to her in the ad is a cheerful Biju Menon, who has his nose pasted in place. The two are flanked by three additional persons in a poor state: Saiju Kurup, Deepti Sati, and an unidentified third person, all of whom have damage marks on their faces and appear to be dazed.

The poster was released on September 9, which occurred to be Biju Menon’s birthday, which was a happy coincidence. Madhu Wariar, Manju’s brother and actor, will make his feature film directorial debut with this project. Century Kochumon and Manju have collaborated on the production of the film.

Kayattam, directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, is another film that Manju has produced and is currently in the process of being released. It features her as the main character, trekking through the Himalayas with others. For the film, a new language was created specifically for it.

There’s more to it than that. Only a few days ago, the first look at another of her flicks, Meri Awaz Suno, was unveiled to the public. It has a happy photograph of her and actor Jayasurya, with a radio dangling from the latter’s neck. This is the second film written and directed by G Prajesh Sen, who was previously responsible for the film Captain, which earned Jayasurya the state award for Best Actor in that same year.

Another Manju Warrier film, Kaapa, was announced in August by Mammootty and Mohanlal, who both shared the motion poster for the film on their respective social media accounts. In addition to Prithviraj Sukumaran, Anna Ben, Asif Ali, and others, the film stars. It is directed by Venu, who made his directorial debut with Manju Warrier in the lead role in a film named Daya 23 years ago, when he made the transition from cinematography to filmmaking.
