In Fifth Harmony, Normani felt ‘ignored’

In Fifth Harmony, Normani was “ignored.” When she was in the female group – who declared an extended sabbatical in 2018 to pursue solo-careers – the 25-year-older singer stated that she had not been able to sing a lot and that, in turn, she had been reverted to the music scene as an independent artist.

Normani told Allure magazine in the newest edition: “I haven’t really been able to sing with the band.

“I had the impression that I was neglected. I was planned for that notion. It’s your place, like that.”

The beauty of brunettes was not as easy as last year’s mother, Andrea Hamilton, was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Normani – who just released ‘Wild Side,’ her new single – shared: “My mother’s breast cancer was diagnosed last year.

But Normani, whose mother was initially treated for cancer at the age of four, was asked to write and record new songs by her family.

She explained: She explained: “To make this happen again, through such a critical and increased period of my professional life … I have been like ‘I must be at home’ so many times and I feel bad that I can’t be with her physically.
