Three more COVID-19 patients died in Faisalabad on Tuesday. A health ministry spokesman said the death toll from COVID-19 had risen to 1,080 in the district and 25 people had tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours.
He said 1,050 people were tested for the virus in public and private hospitals during the same period. He said 19,370 patients had recovered from the disease to date, while the total number of active cases in Faisalabad had reached 859.
He said 335 beds had been allocated at Allied Hospital, 133 at DHQ Hospital and 148 at Ghulam Muhammadabad Hospital for COVID-19 patients. Currently, 124 patients have been treated at Allied Hospital, 44 at DHQ Hospital and 30 at Ghulam Muhammadabad Hospital. In addition, 440 patients were quarantined in their homes.
