Prime Minister Imran Khan received a COVID-19 injection on Thursday, according to the prime minister’s office.
The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) today expressed serious concern about serious violations of the Standard Operating Instructions (SOPs) against COVID-19 and urged provincial governments to take swift action to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
Pakistan began vaccinating COVID-19 in February following the first arrival of a Chinese-donated vaccine, giving priority to first aid, while the country began vaccinating the public on March 10, starting with people aged 60 and over.
Earlier this week, President Dr. Arif Alvi and his wife Samina Alvi were vaccinated against COVID-19.
