Imran Khan is served with a show-cause notice by the ECP

Pakistan’s (ECP) Election Board made an announcement on a showcase of failure to organise elections intraparty to Pakistan PM Imran Khan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Geo News said Tuesday.

The ECP has also given notifications to two other parties for not holding elections, among which the prohibited Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and the Awami Balochistan Party (BAP), in addition to the PTI (BAP).

PTI President Imran Khan did not give information of ECP elections on 13 June 2021, a copy of which is accessible with Geo News. All political parties are obliged by the Election Act to organise elections intraparty on a timely basis.
