After the ICC requested the Kashmir Premier League not to be licensed or recognized by the BCCI, the ICC released a statement. “It is not an international cricket event which is the responsibility of the ICC,” an ICC official stated.
PCB also expressed its disgust at the odd actions of BCCI.
“The PCB feels that the BCCI has tainted the game by providing warning a large number of ICC members to dissuade their retired crickets and also to threaten their expulsion to India by cricket work,” the PCB stated.
“BCCI action is totally unacceptable, because it contradicts the spirit of the preamble and sets a hazardous precedent that cannot be allowed or overlooked,” it writes.
