The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sehat card program will cover the costs of treating patients with the coronavirus, provincial health minister Taimur Jagra announced on Thursday.
“In order to provide maximum assistance to those affected by COVID, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to include COVID treatment in the Health Card program,” the minister tweeted.
Minister urged the public to help the government control the high level of COVID positivity reported in the province during the third wave.
He further added that controlling the positive ratio will reduce the pressure on the health system. The minister said more details on the program will be released today.
