Govt’s revealed plans to promote tourism in Pakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the government’s plans to promote tourism in Pakistan, saying the tourism industry had great potential to create jobs for the people.

The prime minister spoke to reporters in Multan after the opening of Radius Al-Biruni, a tourism project aimed at revitalizing the country’s heritage.

The prime minister said Pakistan has three tourism areas in Pakistan – mountains, sea, and coast – adding that ancient sites are also very important for the country’s tourism.

“The world is fascinated by places like Mohanjo Daro and Harappa, while Fort Nandana was the largest university of its time,” said the Prime Minister.

He added that the well-known Muslim scientist Al-Biruni conducted experiments measuring planets while working at Fort Nandana.

“This is a place of arrival of tourists from all over the world. That is why we decided to develop this village as a pilot village, ”he said, informing the government of upcoming plans.

“Tourists will agree to stay here, so hotels and resorts will also be built as part of a public-private partnership,” said the Prime Minister.

He added that the small village would soon be “on the world map”.

“Pakistan is also full of ancient tourist attractions like Turkey. In Pakistan, we have remnants of the Mughal civilization, but unfortunately, the previous government did not develop this tourist spot properly.”

He said,

Turkey generates $ 40 billion a year from tourism, while Malaysia generates $ 20 billion from marine tourism”

“Even though Pakistan has the same potential, but no one wins over Turkey and Malaysia,” said the Prime Minister.
