Mahmood Khan, Chief Minister of Khbyer Pakhtunkhwa, said that more than 18 billion rupees were given by the Government to build highways linking tourism destinations in the province.
He chaired a road building conference in Peshawar and emphasised that road construction projects need to be completed within the time constraints in the Divisions of Malakand, Hazara, and Dera Ismail Khan in order to enhance the tourist industry.
Mahmood Khan instructed the Department of Tourism to launch a procedure of e-communications and e-tendering on patterns and work.
The Chief Minister added that promoting fast tourism is the main goal and objective of the current government.
