The government has increased the daily wages of workers by Rs. 23 per day from 1st January. The Department of Finance has issued a notification for the appointment of new labyrinths from January 1, 2022.
With the increase of Rs. 23, the daily wages of laborers in Lahore and Punjab have been fixed at Rs. 800.

Similarly, the daily wage of drivers has been increased by Rs. 100 and the new wage has been fixed at Rs. 1100.
The daily wage of the gardener has been fixed at Rs. 850 with an increase of Rs. 50. Earlier, the Punjab government fixed the wage at Rs 777.
