The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib, urged opposition parties to play a constructive role in addressing public issues in parliament, rather than pursuing policies for their political gain.
Speaking to a private news broadcaster, he said the government has a duty to include all interest groups in the National Affairs Council for the greater good.
When asked, Farrukh Habib replied that the government guarantees the rule of law, rule of law and good governance throughout the country.
When asked another question, he replied that the government of Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Insaf, believes in freedom of expression and speech and has never imposed any restrictions or sanctions on the media.
