Google Pixel6 Launch Date Confirmed for October 19

Having teased the Pixel 6 series for what seems like a lifetime, Google has finally confirmed that the company’s next-generation flagship phone, the Pixel6 series and launch date confirmed for October 19. The event will be webcast live starting at 10 a.m. PT, so be sure to check back with us then for the latest information.

Google is likely to introduce two new smartphones, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, in the coming months. In addition to being the first time in history that Google will be delivering its own unique chipset for mobile devices. This will be a very exciting debut as well. This will manifest itself in the form of the Tensor chipset. Which will finally place Google on an equal footing with its competitors such as Apple.

It also places Google among a small group of Android handset manufacturers who have chosen to develop their own chipsets. Rather than relying on third-party suppliers such as Qualcomm or MediaTek. Google also appears to have introduced a whole new design for the Pixel 6 series. Which we are rather fond of due to its futuristic appearance.

The Tensor chipset has said to aid in the enhancement of the phone’s artificial intelligence capabilities. Which we anticipate will be apply to things like the camera to help it achieve even better results. Whichever way you look at it, it’s going to be a fantastic launch, so who else is looking forward to the new Pixel 6 lineup?
