Google for Startups Accelerator Starts in Pakistan

Google has announced the Google for Startups Accelerator. The circular Economy program will start in Pakistan, the Asia-Pacific region, and North America. Organizations that use technology to address circularity issues (like reuse, refilling, recycling, composting, the fashion industry, the food industry, the use of safe and circular materials in construction, etc. Sometimes do select to take part in the program.

Solutions for a circular economy could and should begin in Asia and also the Pacific. When it comes to the effects of climate change, this area is the most vulnerable anywhere on Earth. Ninety percent of the plastic in the ocean comes from just ten rivers, and eight of them are in Asia and also the Pacific. By 2040, analysts think that Asia is always responsible for 40% of the world’s consumption.

Human consumption has reached levels that are much higher than what the planet can handle. In 2022, the world’s needs for resources are did expect to be 1.75 times greater than what the planet’s ecosystems can replenish in that time. Most of the materials we extract and use end up in the trash. Adding to the over 2 billion tonnes of trash that are made every year around the world.

The goal of the Google for Startups Accelerator initiative is to give money to entrepreneurs who develop solutions to circularity problems and work toward a safer. More sustainable, and also a more equal circular economy.
