Tourists who wish to visit Gilgit-Baltistan must now present a valid COVID-19 negative certificate, according to the government of Gilgit-Baltistan, which announced the change on Thursday.
Tourists will be allowed to enter the GB both by air and by land, according to an official announcement.
“In accordance with the Health Department of Gilgit-health Baltistan’s advisory, the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, pursuant to the Gilgit-Baltistan Epidemic Diseases (Prevention & Control) Ordinance, 2020, hereby notifies that tourists with valid COVID-19 Negative Certificates shall be allowed to enter Gilgit-Baltistan,” the notification stated.

“Furthermore, all parties involved are directed to follow the tourism SOPs that have already been distributed by this department. This will take effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.”
