Future of PSL 2021: PCB

Sami ul Hassan, media and communications director for the Cricket board of Pakistan (PCB), announced that the PSL game will continue as planned despite the damage to the integrity of the biosecurity bubble. He announced that a total of 244 tests had been taken as of yesterday, of which 3 have tested positive.

He said 2 foreign players and an employee from the PSL franchise tested positive for COVID-19 and were sent to an isolation facility as part of a biosecurity balloon. The identity of the individual has not been revealed.

He said that accidents of this type had occurred in various sports around the world and did not need to be blown proportionally.

Yesterday, the match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators was postponed because Islamabad foot moth Fawad Ahmed tested positive for COVID-19. PCB decided to immediately test everyone in the protection-protected bladder to understand the extent of the virus.

There were rumors of delays or cancellations of the league, but those rumors were abandoned by the cricket board.
