Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Saturday officially inaugurated the Sindh Institute of Technology’s robotic surgery and training center, expressing his pride in the fact that Sindh has become the first province in the country to use robotic surgery.
During the inauguration ceremony, the chief minister of Sindh stated that robotic surgery is a revolutionary breakthrough and that it will allow surgeons to operate on even the most delicate tissues of the body with ease.
Dr. Adeeb Rizvi and his team were praised by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for bringing the state-of-the-art surgical facility to the province, and the chief minister stated that the operation using artificial intelligence requires the supervision of an experienced surgeon.

Dr. Adeeb Rizvi, who spoke at the event, stated that they have begun offering robotic surgery as of today, adding that it will be performed in accordance with European norms. According to him, “the doctors and other members of the staff will be instructed on how to use the new equipment.”
He also stated that people would be able to take advantage of the service at no additional expense to them. “I would want to express my gratitude to the Sindh government for the assistance they have provided in reaching this milestone,” he remarked.
