HBO Max’s Friends: Reunion received four Emmy nominations for an excellent variety. The latter implies that Cox eventually adds five more stars to the old NBC sitcom.
During the 236-episode episode of the NBC comedy, Friends received 62 nominations, 5 for Aniston, 6 for Kudrow, 3 for LeBlanc, and 1 for Schwimmer and Perry.
Originally set to kick off last May the Friends meeting was the must-see TV for HBO Max. There were also the actors and several special guests and stunts on the subject of Friends and they were shot on the Warner Bros. TV lot on the legendary Burbank studio.
It was the first time that the whole cast was gathered for a show of any kind. As producers – and the cast – all demanded that the meeting take place in person rather than through Zoom, the epidemic has delayed it many times.
