Former President Mamnoon Hussain died in Karachi at the age of 80

After a protracted illness, former Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain died.

In the last two weeks, Geo News reported Arsalan Mamnaon, his son, as Hussain has been receiving treatment in a private hospital in Karachi.

From September 2013 until September 2018, Hussain of the PML-N served as the 12th President of Pakistan. He was substituted by Asif Ali Zardari and Arif Alvi his successor.

Politicians of all parties expressed their sadness and sympathy at the presidential death.

President Arif Alvi expressed his sadness at his death, adding that he shared his sick family’s suffering.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi: “I extend my heartfelt condolences to former President Mamnoon Hussain of Pakistan. May Allah empower his family to withstand this enormous loss.”

As well as grief over Hussain’s passing, the Sindh Chief Minister’s advisor Murtaza Wahab said “he served his Office graciously and dignity.”

PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan also expressed his sympathies and prayed in order to make the loss come to fruition for his family and friends.
