Former Pakistan captain and ex-chief selector Inzamamul Haq was admitted to a hospital in Lahore after having a heart attack.
Speaking to Media, his agent revealed that the 51-year-old had been transported to the hospital after experiencing cardiac trouble.
He added that the cricketer had undergone an angioplasty and had a stent inserted in. The agent, who asked to remain nameless, added that Inzamam was stable and under supervision.
He said that he was hopeful that Inzamam will be discharged soon.
The news of the cricketer’s bad condition started trending on Twitter and civilians, as well as athletic figures, were eager to wish him a swift recovery.
