Gulzar Ahmed, a former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), has asked the government to provide him with foolproof security.

Gulzar Ahmed, the former Chief Justice of Pakistan, has written to the interior ministry, requesting complete security for himself and his family members. On January 27, the letter was delivered to the Supreme Court (SC) through the deputy registrar’s office.

He demanded that his security arrangements be maintained while he delivered verdicts on a number of high-profile matters, including terrorism, extrajudicial murders, minority’ rights, encroachment, and others.
