Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Sunday.
Foreign Minister Qureshi extended his deepest greetings to the Custodian of the two holy mosques, His Excellency King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince HRH Mohammad bin Salman, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s continuing brotherly relationship with Saudi Arabia.
Qureshi praised the steps taken by the kingdom’s leadership to resolve differences between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the recent initiative to promote the resolution of the problem in Yemen through dialogue and diplomacy.

The Foreign Minister underlined Pakistan’s continued support for Saudi Arabia’s efforts to promote peace, security, and prosperity in the region.
He reiterated Pakistan’s support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the kingdom.
The Saudi Foreign Minister acknowledged Pakistan’s strong and continuing support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
