ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to enlist the help of Interpol (international police) to retrieve former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s closest aide, Nasir Butt of the United Kingdom. Monday .
According to sources, the FIA has written a letter to Interpol to issue Red Orders against Pakistani Muslim League leader Nawaz (PML-N) Nasir Butt.
Sources told Lahore Herald that Senior Vice President Nasir Butt of the British Division Pakistani Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would be returned to Pakistan after a local court identified him as a criminal in the murder case.
Butt is the protagonist in the judge’s video case related to former accountability judge Arshad Malik’s admission that he forcibly convicted ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Last year, it was revealed that 14 cases had been registered against Nasir Butt, an activist of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
These cases were registered against him between 1982 and 1996 in various police stations in the sister cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
