Fawad says the next budget will provide ‘significant relief’ to the salaried class

Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry said Tuesday that the upcoming budget proposed by the PTI-led government would bring “huge relief” to the wage class.

The minister also said that while inflation is rising at home, it is also increasing people’s purchasing power, adding that this is a welcome change.

In a tweet, Chaudhry wrote that the country would achieve its progress goals in the next two years under Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The federal government has decided to present its next budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year on June 11, 2022.

In the upcoming budget, the PTI government will focus on introducing special programs for the rural areas of Sindh, Karachi, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan with a possible allocation of around 100 billion rupees.

The upcoming business survey for the period 2020-21 will be presented on 10 June 2021 to present highlights from various economic sectors achieved at the end of the fiscal year.
