Individuals who kill innocent people are terrorists, according to Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
In a tweet, the minister Fawad Chaudhry claimed that there is “no confusion at any level” when it comes to individuals who murder innocent people. “Terrorism is occurring, and the perpetrators are terrorists.
We have felt the pain of terrorism in our own nation and can sympathise with those who have lost loved ones as a result of these heinous crimes.”
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had refrained from calling Osama bin Laden a terrorist in an interview with Afghanistan’s Tolo News the day before.
When the interviewer mentioned Prime Minister Imran Khan declaring Osama bin Laden a “martyr,” Qureshi said, “Well, again.” It was omitted from its context.
The statements of his [the Prime Minister] were taken out of context. And it’s coupled with something else in the media.”
When asked if he agreed, the foreign minister paused before responding, “I’ll let it pass.”
