Fawad Chaudhry Federal Minister of Science and Technology announced on Wednesday the “largest scholarship in Pakistan“, under which the government will offer financial assistance to highly successful students ranging from matric to PhD degrees.
Minister stated that ten matrix toppers and ten intermediate toppers from each region would receive Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 12,000 per month for this scholarship.
“After 15 years we have completed the various agency councils within the ministry,” he said.
Minister also announced that production of dialysis machines and related medical equipment in Pakistan would begin soon.
“Bringing an electric vehicle is a great achievement for us,” he added.
In other news, the Fawad Chaudhry described 2021 as a “breakthrough” for “Pakistani-made medical machines and devices” in the healthcare sector and revealed that two of the world’s biggest brands are interested in building factories in the country.
