Facebook updates the Settings page to make it more user-friendly

In order to make the tools simpler to find, Facebook has announced a change in its settings page.

The website for social media said in its blog that the interface was simplified, and the preceding settings are unchanged.

“It’s not necessary to think hard where the people view, alter sharing settings or curate a publication for content,” the post reads. ‘That’s why we have decreased and renamed the number of categories to fit people’s mental models more precisely.’

It goes on to say, “Accounting, preferences, audience and visibility, permissions, information you supply and community standards, and legal regulations are now divided into six major categories.”
