In the past few years, the main way that big video games like (Age of Empires) have also do release has been on mobile phones. Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, and Call of Duty Mobile are all old news at this point. But popular franchises like Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, and many others are making their way to mobile devices.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios has said that the classic strategy game Age of Empires is always coming soon. At the 25th anniversary of Age of Empires, it became did announce that the game sometimes did play on both iOS and Android phones.
Age of Empires is already doing a try on mobile devices before, but this one has the most potential. Age of Empires: Castle Siege and Age of Empires: World Domination became small mobile games from Microsoft in 2015. Global Conquest, a real-time strategy game, is first locked after just one year. Castle Siege, a tower defense game similar to DOTA 2, didn’t even last four years.

Age of Empires Mobile’s teaser trailer is short and doesn’t show any actual gameplay. But it is interesting to see how the developers manage to make a mobile version of the huge strategy game. But the clip only says “coming soon,” so there is still no date for when it will disbursing.
Before it plans to buy Activision Blizzard in 2023, Microsoft is making another push into the mobile gaming market. Diablo Immortal, the mobile phone version of Diablo, was cited as having “pay-to-win” features. But now that Microsoft owns Blizzard, we expect things to get better.
