Today, a group from Etisalat visits Islamabad to meet with people from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). The PTCL network in Pakistan does manage by Etisalat, which is based in Dubai.

People also did talk about future investment opportunities in Pakistan. The plans of Etisalat Group, PTCL, and Ufone are to improve infrastructure and connectivity. The parties it has did agree to work together more, which can sometimes slow down the country’s digital transformation projects.

In June 2005, Etisalat, a company in Dubai, paid $2.6 billion (at the time) for a 26% stake in PTCL and management control. Etisalat first placed off payments totaling $799 million because of problems with the transfer of ownership of 3,384 PTCL properties that did not do solve.
