Dwayne Johnson, “The Rock,” is entering the realm of superheroes with Black Adam, a DC film about an evil counterpart to Shazam!
The film’s filming began in April, and the actor has been posting images from the set on his Instagram.
His most recent post is our finest glimpse at the film thus far, showing the actor in costume overlooking a destroyed scene in stylish black and white.
According to Dwayne Johnson: “Superheroes, as we all know, follow a code of justice and do not murder the bad guys. Black Adam, on the other hand, does. The power structure in the DC UNIVERSE is shifting. Antihero. A man dressed in black. He is the protector of his people.”
The picture was supposed to be released in December of this year, but it was recently postponed until next year.
Black Adam is set to be released on July 29, 2022.
