During Eid ul Adha, the tourism sector in KP contributed Rs67 billion to the government’s coffers

During the vacations in Eid ul Adha, the province of Naran, Kaghan and Swat visited 2,7 million regions and generated income of Rs67 billion.

In a post on his Twitter account the KP government information department approved the data.

Camping pods were erected in various places by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in order to facilitate visitors during the summer. The camping pods were placed to provide tourists access to the northern areas of the country in 10 tourist sites.

Sheik Badin, Mahabin, Jakh Tangi and elsewhere give camping pods for Thandiani, Sharan, Beshegram, Gabeen Jabba. Each site has 26 camping pods.

Sources show that, following 2.7 million visitors who visited the province in the Eid holidays, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) administration has received an income of Rs67 billion.
