NCOC decrease duration between 2 doses of Covid-19

To speed up the vaccination push across the country, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has decreased the time between both doses of COVID-19 vaccines from 42 to 28 days.

The decision was made following consultation with Ministry of Health officials and physicians, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

It has also decided to make both Covid vaccine doses mandatory for air travel beginning September 10, and all relevant institutions have been notified.

The government also stated that completing the country’s immunization program as soon as possible will be beneficial in countering the coronavirus epidemic.

According to reports, a foreign aircraft flight carrying one million doses of COVID-19 vaccination landed in Islamabad earlier in the day.

Under the COVAX vaccine platform, Pakistan has received a shipment of COVID vaccines from China’s Sinopharm.

According to reports, the vaccine shipment was transferred from the airport to the government’s Expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI) central storage.

According to reports, China has given the COVAX vaccination partnership with 10 million doses of Sinopharm.
