The Lahore administration has established the first drive-thru vaccination center at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex. This facility will help people get vaccinated in just 15-20 minutes from the comfort of their car. This is major step towards the national goal of vaccinating 70 million people by the end of this year.
This unique drive-thru facility in Pakistan has jointly inaugurated by President and CEO – BOP and Vice Commissioner of Lahore.
It should be noted here that the government has decided to establish Covid vaccination centers in all hospitals of province. The aim of government is to vaccinate a target population of 67 million by the end of 2021. In essence, it is important for everyone to get vaccination as early as possible to stop the spread of this pandemic. It is also to restore the all important normality, not only for the social structure of society, but also for economic activities.
The number of coronavirus vaccination centers in the province has increased to 677. Central vaccination centers will operate 24 hours in each area. Punjab’s special health department also issued a special notice on Friday. It is instructing all vice chancellors, principals and school principals to set up vaccination centers.
