The burial prayer for Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, a renowned nuclear scientist from Pakistan, was offered on Sunday at the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Acting President and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani was accompanied by members of the government and legislators as well as civil and military officials, as well as a huge number of people, to his Namaz-e-Janaza, which was held on the open ground under a light drizzle. His body would be laid to rest in the H-8 cemetery, where he was born.
The 85-year-old Dr. Khan took his final breath on a Sunday morning after succumbing to major health problems. His wife and daughters will take care of his affairs.
