Meanwhile, on Saturday Foreign Office (FO) stated that Dr Aafia Siddiqui, a jailed neuroscientist, was injured “little” following the attack by a fellow inmate in Carswell, USA, last month, at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) and that it was done “well.”
FO Speaker Zahid Hafeez Chaudhary stated in a statement that on 30 July, the authorities were informed about the Siddiqui attack by a fellow prisoner.
“We took the problem up as quickly with the relevant US authorities through our Embassy in Washington, DC and by our General Consulate in Houston,” he added.
