Diljit Dosanjh has beloved in the Punjabi community because of his affable and endearing nature. The singer has scored numerous hits and acted in a lot of films as well. However, his admirers have always interested in what he is doing. Someone from his audience questioned him, “Why don’t you spend more time in Punjab and less time in the US?”
Despite already responding to the tweet, the artist went on to make a passing comment on the message. He said that he carries Punjab with him everywhere he travels.
I don’t care at all about this comment made by the supporters. The Punjab will be an important part of me until the day I die. Someone once stated that I remain away from that place, but I never let go of Punjab, wherever I go.
The Punjabi singer remarked in the same interview that he does not want to become a Bollywood celebrity and has the freedom to do so. As far as Bollywood is concerned, the singer mentioned that nobody can stop him from making any kind of music, and that he has no concern about obtaining a job there.
Besides music videos, Diljit Dosanjh has roles in two Bollywood films: Udta Punjab, Phillauri, Soorma, Arjun Patiala and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari.
