Deepika Padukone, a Bollywood actress who has always been candid about her problems with mental health issues, is preparing to launch a ‘Care Package.’
The world’s first audio-first event ‘cares’ about self-care and mental wellness. This first-of-its-kind event took held on Clubhouse, a famous social networking app, on July 20 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. IST.
Deepika announced the programme on her Instagram account. “I’m delighted to present ‘Care Package’ – An Audio-First Festival that Cares,” she said.
The ‘Piku’ star previously stated that the earnings from the Deepika Padukone Closet will be donated to NGO Sangath’s specialised Covid-19 well-being centre under the project Frontline Assist.
“Frontline workers have been the backbone of our country as we cope with this pandemic. Because I have experienced mental illness, I understand the importance of emotional well-being, and as a mental health foundation, we are delighted to be able to contribute to the mental health of our country’s frontline personnel through ‘Frontline Assist.'” Deepika previously mentioned on Instagram.
