Karachi: Emerging bowlers Shahnawaz Dahani and Muhammad Wasim are likely to be selected for the first time for the tours of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim consulted with the members of national selection committee to select the squads for South Africa and Zimbabwe tour.
They will announce the final squad later in this week.
Selection committee analyzed the players’ performances in 14 matches of PSL and will consider that performance for the selection of international T20 squad.

Two emerging fast bowlers; Shahnawaz Dahani and Wasim showed excellent performance in PSL.
They played for Multan Sultans and Islamabad United and took 12 wickets in four matches.
Because of their great performance they might get a chance to represent Pakistan in upcoming international tours.
Muhammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim might also return to international squad after a break period.
Meanwhile, CEO of Pakistan cricket board Wasim khan had a separate meeting with skipper Babar azam and head coach Misbah to plan a strategy for up coming tours.
They discussed about Covid-19 SOP’s , bio-secure bubble and many other issues during the tour.
After south Africa and Zimbabwe tours, PCB is likely to resume remaining PSL matches before the start of June 2021.
