The COVID-19 positivity rate in Pakistan has jumped impressively to 3.65% in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest updates from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), up to 36,454 tests were performed in the previous 24 hours, of which 1,828 patients tested positive.
Active cases were verified in 35,573. The positivity rate of COVID-19 cases reported an increase in perforation and was documented at 3.65% in Pakistan.
The number of people convalescing from the disease after the pandemic began to increase to 911,383, after 774 convalescents in the past 24 hours.
Whereas Punjab reported a total of 347,553 infections by COVID-19, Sindh 344,223, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 139,008, Islamabad 83,400, Balochistan 27,781, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 20,811, and Gilgit Baltistan 6,700.
On July 10, up to 14,698,191 people were partially inoculated against the deadly virus, while 3,530,044 people established both inoculation jabs.
A total of 18,228,235 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered.
Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke to the nation where he spoke about the country’s global pandemic situation, noting that the government is overseeing Covid’s fourth wave forecast.
The PM said the Indian variant is a crucial concern for the government, given the dilemmas it has caused in Bangladesh as well.
He even advised obedience to the wearing of a mask as Eid ul-Azha approaches.
