COVID-19 cases and fatalities have been steadily increasing in Pakistan

The death toll from the worldwide coronavirus epidemic has climbed in Pakistan, with 34 additional individuals succumbing to the virus.

According to the National Command and Operation Center, 48,027 coronavirus tests were performed across the country in the previous 24 hours, with 1,400 of them resulting in a positive result.

The positive rate is currently 2.91 percent, according to the official webpage.

This is the third day in a row with more than 1,000 daily new cases and the fourth day in a row with a positive rate of more than 2%.

The overall number of COVID-19-related fatalities in the country has grown to 22,379, with 961,085 cases reported.

Furthermore, 957 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 906,387 and the number of active cases to 32,319, increasing the total number of recoveries to 906,387.
